Refund policy
At verysimpleBBQ, we take pride in the quality of our products. Because our items are large, heavy, and often shipped by freight, our return and refund policy follows industry standards for outdoor kitchen and cabinet systems. Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Return Request & Timeframe
Returns may be accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible items only.
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
- The item must be in original packaging
- The item must not be assembled, mounted, or modified
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Special configurations or bulk orders
- Clearance or final sale items
- Used or damaged items not caused by shipping
- Products returned without authorization
Return Authorization Required
All returns must be approved in advance.
To request a return, please contact us with:
- Order number
- Photos of the product
- Reason for return
If approved, we will provide return instructions and the return address.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
A return authorization must be issued by verysimpleBBQ before the item is shipped back. Once approved, the item must be shipped back within 7 days of return authorization.
2. Installation & Usage Condition
Products that have been installed, used, or altered are not eligible for full refund.
• If a return is requested after installation or use, we will assess the item condition and issue a partial refund only.
• Any damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow instructions is not covered.
3. Original Packaging Requirement
Items must be returned with original packaging, accessories, and all components.
• Missing packaging or parts will result in deductions from the refund.
• We strongly recommend keeping the original packaging for at least 30 days after delivery.
4. Return Shipping Responsibility
• For non-defective returns (e.g. no longer needed, ordered by mistake),
return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
5. Large Item Handling
For oversized or heavy products:
• Returns may require freight shipping arranged by the buyer.
• If we assist in arranging return shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
6. Inspection & Restocking Fee
All returns will be inspected upon arrival.
• Depending on the condition, a restocking fee (up to 10%–30%) may apply.
• Items returned in used or damaged condition will receive partial refunds only.
7. Defective or Seller Error
If the item arrives damaged or defective:
• Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• We will provide a replacement or full refund, including shipping
