I use this for my BiG Joe. I like it because the wheels make pushing this kamado so easy. The wheel are thick rubber for smooth moving. The stainless steel is thick and strong. No wobbles and holds the extra large securely. They include the strip pads to keep scratches away from the kamado. The stand is durable, strong, and rust proof. We simply couldn't evaluate the missing tape from the outset without using the item.As mentioned, we have tested this stand and we have not seen any adverse effects from the lack of the insultation tape stuff.

I have been looking at new stands to replace the old factory stand I purchased with the Green Egg. When I saw this product, it looked better and appeared much more mobile than the one the Green Egg store sold me, so I purchased it. I assumed the assembly would be much like the original, but it was much easier and went together as designed. Looks great, moves a heavy item with ease.

I think it's a great table for the big green egg!
